Terms of Use

Effective Date: August 15, 2026

Welcome to injured.dog. These Terms of Use govern your use of the website and its articles, evidence reviews, charts, guides, tools, and other materials. By using injured.dog, you agree to these Terms.

Educational Information Only

injured.dog provides educational information to help dog owners understand evidence about canine drugs, vaccines, biologics, treatments, safety issues, regulatory actions, and related topics.

Neither injured.dog nor Jeff Gibson provides veterinary or medical advice. The website does not diagnose animals, prescribe or recommend treatments, or determine whether a product is appropriate for an individual dog. It also does not recommend alternative treatments or substitutes for care recommended by a veterinarian.

Discussion of adverse events, warnings, study limitations, evidence gaps, or other concerns should not be understood as advice to start, stop, accept, reject, or replace any treatment. Treatment decisions belong between dog owners and licensed veterinarians who can evaluate the individual animal.

Using the website, subscribing, or contacting injured.dog or Jeff Gibson does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship or any other professional veterinary relationship.

Veterinary Emergencies

injured.dog is not an emergency service. If you believe your dog is experiencing a medical emergency, serious adverse reaction, poisoning, or other urgent problem, seek veterinary care promptly. Do not delay emergency care while researching information on this website.

Evidence, Sources, and Limitations

injured.dog may organize, analyze, visualize, or summarize government and regulatory documents, scientific publications, product labels, adverse-event reports, manufacturer materials, and other public sources. When practical, the website links to primary sources so readers can review them directly.

Scientific, regulatory, and safety information can change. Sources may be incomplete, revised, corrected, or interpreted differently as new evidence becomes available. injured.dog makes reasonable efforts to represent sources accurately but does not guarantee that its content is complete, error-free, current, or relevant to every individual dog. When exact scientific, regulatory, or labeling language matters, consult the original source.

Adverse-Event Data

An adverse-event report does not by itself prove that a product caused the reported event. Report counts generally cannot establish how often an event occurs, estimate product risk, or compare product safety. FDA warns that animal adverse-event data should not be the sole basis for clinical decisions.

These data may be affected by underlying conditions, other treatments, incomplete or duplicate reports, missing information, differences in product use, and underreporting. Where injured.dog publishes adverse-event charts or analyses, the resource may include additional methodology, definitions, coverage details, and limitations.

No Endorsement

Mentioning or linking to a drug, vaccine, biologic, treatment, manufacturer, study, veterinarian, organization, product, or source does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation. Presenting favorable or unfavorable evidence does not mean injured.dog or Jeff Gibson has concluded that a product should or should not be used.

injured.dog may link to third-party websites for evidence, sourcing, transparency, or additional information. injured.dog does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, or changes. A link does not imply endorsement of the website, organization, product, or all of its content.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original injured.dog writing, analysis, charts, visualizations, graphics, methodologies, designs, and other original content are owned by or licensed to injured.dog and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party materials, trademarks, product names, logos, photographs, government documents, and scientific publications remain the property of their respective owners.

You may link to public injured.dog pages. Without permission, you may not:

  • republish substantial portions of original injured.dog content as your own;
  • remove injured.dog attribution from original charts or graphics;
  • sell or commercially redistribute injured.dog content;
  • systematically copy or scrape substantial portions of the website for republication or commercial use; or

Disclaimer of Warranties

injured.dog and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, injured.dog makes no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted or that its information will be complete, current, error-free, or sufficient for any individual dog or particular outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
