I registered injured.dog in September 2022. I knew I wanted to create a website for dog owners, but I had no clear idea what information it should provide. For several years, the domain sat unused.
That changed in 2025 when a large Librela Facebook group appeared in my feed. Dog owners were posting videos and describing health problems they believed began after their dogs received Librela.
I wanted to understand what the data showed.
I taught myself Python so I could work with the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine’s adverse-event JSON files. I began organizing the reports into understandable data and posted several charts in the group.
An attorney saw my work and contacted me about contributing my charts and data analysis to a Citizen Petition to the FDA.
That work gave injured.dog its purpose.
Today, I use injured.dog to help make complicated safety information, studies, government records, and other evidence easier for dog owners to understand.
